Considered to be one of the finest art festivals south of the river, the Lakeville Art Festival is held the third weekend in September in historic downtown Lakeville, Minnesota on the grounds of the Lakeville Area Arts Center. Featuring approximately 100 juried artists on the park-like grounds using a unique circular arrangement of artist booths, the Lakeville Art Festival provides an intimate and accessible setting to enjoy fine art.

Fly-In Breakfast at Airlake Airport is on Sunday, July 10th from 7:30-11:00 a.m. This event attracts flyers from all over Minnesota and one from Wisconsin! This is one of those times when pilots will spend $100 on fuel just for breakfast!! In 2021, over 85 planes touched down at Airlake Airport.The Lions have confirmed, (weather permitting) the appearance of the Minnesota Commemorative Air Force (CAF) “Warbirds”. The CAF will fly-in the pride of the fleet, a WWII era North American B-25J Mitchell – Miss Mitchell. King Henry and his royal court invite one and all to his 16th Century European village featuring 16 stages of exciting entertainment. Over 250 artisans fill the Festival marketplace to display and sell their handcrafted wares for a truly unique shopping experience. Patrons can interact with hundreds of memorable characters roaming the village streets as well as view live armored jousting throughout the day.
The “Great Minnesota Get Together” is one of the largest and best-attended expositions in the country, attracting more than 1.6 million visitors annually. Features 11 nights of big-name Grandstand entertainment; over 75 performers on 5 free stages; nearly 70 rides; big thrills on extreme rides in Adventure Park; thousands of agricultural, livestock and creative competitions; over 450 foods including more than 50 delicacies on-a-stick; shopping galore; and some of the most unique and state-of-the art exhibits in the country.
Panorama of Progress, or PAN-O-PROG, began largely due from the success of the development of Lakeville’s Airlake Industrial Park. Since 1967 Lakeville has been celebrating its successes as PAN-O-PROG! This is the biggest best week long celebration in the Twin Cities!
