LocalEYES Itineraries
Use these itineraries recommended by locals to help plan your unique trip to the Lakeville and Twin Cities area!  Lakeville hotels have taken active steps to welcome guests safely and are minutes to indoor fun such as an escape room, movie theater, bowling alleys, Minnesota Zoo and over 60 restaurants including patio dining and breweries! 

DAY 1
For decades boys of summer have found connection in Lakeville. Bring your boat and take a relaxing morning to fish on Lake Marion, Orchard Lake and Crystal Lake. Fishing piers are available at Antlers Beach Park, Valley Lake Park and Casperson Park as well as shore fishing at Orchard Lake.  Spend a few hours splashing at these beaches too! 

After lunch, try your hand at mini putt-putt at King Park, Frisbee golf at Kenwood Trail Middle School or FootGolf at Cleary Park, sand volleyball and horseshoes at Antlers Park or archery at Ritter Farm Park..  Whatever game you decide on, suggest a friendly bet for ice cream treats at the Waffle Bar.

For those on the micro beer trail, include Lakeville Brewing (family friendly yard), Angry Inch Brewing (Lakeville), Tanzenwald Brewing (nearby Northfield) and Imminent Brewing (Northfield) or Chapel Brewing (Dundas).

DAY 2
Choose one of our area golf courses that fits your ability, from great for those learning the game to championship courses: The Legends, The Wilds, Crystal Lake, Southern Hills, Boulder Point, The Summit, Cleary Lake and Heritage Links)!

Weekend NASCAR excitement takes place at Elko Speedway including racing series and Eves of Destruction.

Catch live horse racing at Canterbury Park, or tempt lady luck at Mystic Lake Casino or Treasure Island Casino.

DAY 3
With over 100 miles of paved hiking and biking trails, start the morning with a brisk walk or casual stross around Valley Lake followed by a hearty breakfast at one of our great area restaurants.

Spend the afternoon at the ultimate outdoor playground, Champion Valley Park where you can try your hand at paintball, axe-throwing and archery and more!
